Description
A creamy, vibrant Filipino dessert made from purple yam (ube), coconut milk, and honey. No baking or cooking required.
Ingredients
5 oz steamed or cooked purple yam (ube), cubed
1 cup full-fat coconut milk
2 tbsp raw honey or condensed milk
Instructions
1. Add steamed or cooked ube to a blender.
2. Pour in coconut milk and honey (or condensed milk).
3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
4. Spoon into serving bowls.
5. Chill for 30 minutes if desired.
6. Top with coconut flakes or crushed nuts.
Notes
You can steam, roast, or boil the ube.
Condensed milk offers a richer, sweeter finish.
For vegan version, use maple syrup instead of honey.
